About Cabin Sweet Cabin

Located on the shores of Pike Lake about fifteen miles outside of the picturesque town of Grand Marais, Minnesota you will find Cabin Sweet Cabin. This cozy log cabin sits just feet away from the lapping shoreline of Pike Lake surrounded by peace and quiet.

Inside this warm and cozy home, you will find an open layout living area. The living area is complete with a wood-burning stove, dining area, and kitchen with stainless steel appliances. A spiral staircase leads to the open loft bedroom above. In the back of the home there are two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and a washer and dryer.

Outside of Cabin Sweet Cabin, you will find a true North Woods retreat. Relax in front of the fire pit or enjoy a BBQ meal at the children's and adult-sized picnic tables. Be sure to bring your kayak or canoe for Cabin Sweet Cabin has a private dock that you can use during your stay. Pike Lake is a beautiful lake known for great fishing- catch a fish right from the dock or take your boat out onto the lake. Cabin Sweet Cabin sits on a shallow end of the lake making it a great place to take a dip on a hot summer's day, as well.

The cabin is located about fifteen miles from Grand Marais in a quiet little community surrounding the lake. You have a couple of visible neighbors, but the entire area is known for being a peaceful and quiet retreat. Perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

During the winter months, guests can enjoy being close to a broad system of snowmobile trails and cross-country ski trails. Lutsen Mountains is only 22 miles away for those looking to do some alpine skiing.

Need more space? "Woodsy Cabin" is located on the same property, but further away from the lake. Rent both homes together for two families or a larger group traveling together.

This Home is Pet Friendly! Pets are welcome in this home with an additional fee. There is a 2 pet maximum. 

Remote Location: Guests should be aware that Pike Lake is a remote lake in Northern Minnesota. There is limited to no cell phone coverage in this area. WiFi is provided and most cellular providers allow for WiFi calling.

Cabin Sweet Cabin is located down a gravel road in a secluded setting about fifteen miles from downtown Grand Marais. The cabin is located on Pike Lake. Here you are a short drive to a beautiful section of the Cascade River and the Pike Lake public boat landing.

Cabin Sweet Cabin is also just a short drive from Grand Marais which is filled with unique art galleries, stores, and restaurants while also being centrally located to many wilderness outdoor activities available on the North Shore. Only a few miles away are state parks, beaches, the Gunflint Trail, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling trails, and so much more. You will find adventure year-round in Grand Marais.
