With this booking you get two separate homes located on the same property: Lakeside and Treehouse! Both homes sit steps from the Lake Superior shoreline in peaceful Schroeder, Minnesota. This combination is perfect for two families or groups of friends traveling together who each want their own space, but also enjoy time together as a group on the property.

Together the two properties have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, plus two additional sleeping areas. Perfect for the whole family!

About Lakeside

Lakeside is a one-story cabin featuring an open-layout kitchen and living room. Off the living space, you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom, the perfect getaway for a couple or a small family looking to reconnect and unwind near the Lake Superior shoreline.

About Treehouse

This verticle home has three levels of living space to enjoy, with the Lake Superior views getting better and better with each set of stairs.

You enter the first floor of the house into an entryway with a laundry room, perfect for those coming for long stays. The first-floor living room has a wet bar, a seating area to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and a TV. Past the living room is the first bedroom featuring a queen bed and twin over twin bunk beds. Rounding out the first floor is a full bathroom.

Now head up the stairs to the second level of the Treehouse where you will find an open layout living space. This space has a living room with a TV that flows right into the dining room. Enjoy incredible views of Lake Superior while you enjoy a meal made right in the home's modern kitchen featuring custom cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Off of the kitchen are the second full bathroom and the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed.

Up the next flight of stairs, you will find the loft. The loft has 360-degree views with windows on every wall featuring Lake Superior herself and the beautiful boreal forest surrounding the home. Sit back on the sleeper sofa and relax to the sounds of the waves crashing against the shoreline just a few feet away. In this room you will understand why this home is called Treehouse- you will feel like you're in your own private treehouse in the great Northwoods.

Lakeside and Treehouse sits on a beautiful lakefront property. Enjoy the outdoor space that includes Adirondack chairs surrounding a fire-it, or enjoy a stroll and explore the ledge rock shoreline. Dip your toes into Lake Superior and then sit on the yard swing and enjoy the sunset over the lake.

Area Information

Located in Schroeder, this property is just a stone's throw away from Sugar Loaf Cove. At this quaint natural area, you will find a lovely hike leading to a unique cobblestone beach. Be sure to visit the nature center while you're there! The opposite direction brings you to the small village of Schroeder, home to the Schroeder Baking Company and Cross River Heritage Center. Temperance River State Park, with several waterfalls and miles of hiking trails, is also nearby. Go a little further and you will find the town of Lutsen, home to the Lutsen Mountains Ski and Recreation Area. The town of Grand Marais, filled with ma and pa gift shops and restaurants, is about 40 miles away.
