About Lutsen Log Cabin 401

Lutsen Log Cabin 401 is a handcrafted two-bedroom cabin overlooking Lake Superior in picturesque Lutsen, Minnesota. 

Lutsen Log Cabin 401 is a true log cabin with vaulted ceilings providing a true Northwoods experience with wonderful views of Lake Superior from the picture windows. The cabin has a great room with a full galley kitchen, a dining area with room for the whole family, and a living room featuring a wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy Lake Superior views from the large windows or step out onto the lake-facing deck off the great room.

The cabin features a king guestroom as well as a double guestroom with two full beds and either a futon or sleeper sofa in the living room for additional guests. 

Step out onto the lake-facing deck to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a refreshing afternoon drink as you take in the sights and sounds of Lake Superior. 

This Home is Dog-Friendly! Dogs only are welcome in this home with an additional fee. There is a 2 dog maximum.

The Lutsen Log Cabins are now managed by Cascade Vacation Rentals. The cabins are no longer associated with Lutsen Resort.

Lutsen Log Cabin 401 is part of a set of ten traditional log cabins that were formerly part of Lutsen Resort on the shores of Lake Superior. Conveniently located near the bottom of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minnesota, this amazing location provides easy access to Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area as well as many other local attractions. In the winter, enjoy a day of skiing at the Midwest’s premiere ski resort. During the summer months, the Alpine Slide and site-seeing Gondola are two popular activities to do at Lutsen Mountains. The Superior National at Lutsen Golf Course is a recently renovated 27-hole golf course located right across the street. The Gitchi Gami State Trail is easily accessible across Highway 61 from the Lutsen Log Cabins.

Just ten miles in either direction you will find a fabulous State Park: going west you will find Temperance River State Park and going east you will find Cascade River State Park. The picturesque town of Grand Marais is just a twenty-minute scenic drive away. Grand Marais is home to the North House Folk School and Grand Marais Art Colony. You will also find dozens of ma and pa shops and restaurants you can enjoy during your stay.
