About Serenity Loft

Serenity Loft is nestled on a remote section of Lake Superior shoreline in Lutsen, Minnesota. This two-bedroom, one-bathroom loft is located on the second floor of the summer kitchen and multi-purpose building next door to Serenity House. The kitchen features modern, stainless-steel appliances and custom cabinetry. The Japanese-style soaker tub in the bathroom is one-of-a-kind and great for a great soak after a busy day on the North Shore.

During spring, summer and fall you can enjoy a large screened-in patio space and listen to the sounds of the Lake Superior waves and the abundant bird and wildlife species that call this magical setting home. The secluded beach is prime for driftwood and other treasures that are known to wash ashore in some of Lake Superior’s legendary storms. Although this North Woods style loft is ideal year-round, during the winter months the living room is a great place to curl up with a good book or watch a winter storm roll in.

Note: Serenity Loft is one half of Serenity on Superior. Serenity House, a separate rental, is located right next door and makes up the other half of Serenity on Superior. The two properties share a driveway, lake-view patio, walkway to the shoreline, and the Lake Superior shoreline in front of the home.

Want more space? Serenity House and Serenity Loft are available to rent together as Serenity on Superior! Renting both together allows for groups of up to eight guests and a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Note: There is an outdoor kitchen area behind Serenity Loft that is not to be used by guests due to safety precautions.

Area Information

 Located on Cascade Beach Road, this charming home is situated near the town of Lutsen on Lake Superior's North Shore. The Lutsen area offers everything from miles of hiking and biking trails to easy access the Midwest’s premier downhill skiing destination. Lutsen Mountains, as the ski hill is known, is also accessible and popular during the summer months, as you can enjoy the alpine slide and take a scenic gondola ride up to Moose Mountain Summit. While atop this pristine setting you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Superior. For more outside adventures, Cascade State Park is just a couple of miles away and features a gorgeous waterfall following a short, easy hike. You are also just a short drive away from several restaurants and locally-owned shops.
